About The GOOD

Here are some more words of wisdom (?) ... more thought-hopping!

By: W. Owen Thornton

GOOD requires action which requires awareness.

Love and human kindness are both good.

Good takes work.

So going on autopilot creates a cessation of love and human kindness.

Being on autopilot means taking love and human kindness for granted.

If we are taking the principles of love and human kindness for granted, we are taking the people whom we love and for whom we would like to be kind towards for granted.

Taking people for granted leads to narcissism.

We are focused on ourselves and our own needs.

Taking people for granted is a non-action.

BAD can take work, but it is more insidious when BAD is reflected in non-action.

Bad in conjunction with non-action includes a lack of awareness.

Singularity of focus may cause a lack of awareness.

The addictive nature of speed -- getting things done fast ... by its very nature creates focus which includes a lack of awareness for the GOOD ... sometimes ... even in the pursuit of good stuff.

LOVE and HUMAN KINDNESS takes work ... GOOD work ... and awareness.

Please ... be kind to one another out there, eh?
